PARKING WELCOME TEAM:
This is the start of the First Impressions Ministry as a team of men and women provide assistance to our regular attendees and first time guests as they drive onto the church campus. Welcoming each individual, family and providing information about the church is a primary function of this ministry. This team will also direct first time guest to a special parking area across from the main entrance to the Worship Center.

USHERS MINISTRY:
The Usher department is a sanctuary ministry. Their congregational care is to receive the tithes and offerings, oversee the safekeeping of them, and to seat the attendees at worship services. They also participate in serving Communion.

GREETERS MINISTRY:
We serve as an organized welcome/assistance ministry to members and visitors/guests to North Cleveland Church of God. Our goal is to make you feel welcome in our home of worship and to provide helpful information that will help you get involved in North Cleveland Church of God.

HOSPITALITY ROOM/WELCOME CENTER:
Provides another “personal” opportunity to meet newcomers/visitors to the church and make a friendly, positive first impression while also ensuring that information on visitor is secured. This takes place in the hospitality room at conclusion of services with a gift given to visitors as introductions and information are supplied. We want the visitors to know that even though we are a big church we still feel each individual is important

POINT TEAM:
This team is dedicated to protecting North Cleveland Church of God with the love and guidance of Jesus Christ. As a church, providing security can be a sensitive subject. Since North Cleveland Church of God impacts lives with the love and message of Jesus Christ, and ministers to thousands of people in the process, many times we have guests that bring us diverse challenges that are not easily met. We need a group of men and women that understand that, at times, a proper balance between security and ministry is needed. Ushers and deacons may be able to minister, but don’t have a security background needed to deal with our challenging guests. The security team brings the perfect blend that is needed in a church environment. That perfect blend is somebody that is interested in both the spiritual condition of a challenging guest and the security of the church at large.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TEAM:
This team of emergency medical personnel, male and female, that provide medical assistance as needed, before, during, and after services. A team of two will be on duty equipped with two way communications for silent notification if needed. The teams will have access to adequate equipment and supplies as needed.
